We are very happy to announce the 3rd SCCS Hungary which will be held in Tihany, between 29 August and 2 September 2017.
Background of the conference
SCCS is the largest international conference in conservation science, where students and early career scientists are welcomed and have the chance to present their research, learn from each other and meet with experts of the field who can offer them guidance in their future careers.
In 2015, Hungary joined this inspiring event and organizes a conference, especially for young scientists from all around Europe to build a network among the presented parts of the continent.
We are proud to announce our confirmed plenary speakers. Prof. Dr. Teja Tscharntke, Head of the Agroecology Research Group at the University of Göttingen, Faculty member in Agriculture and Biology and Dr. Peter Szabo, Deputy head of the Department of Vegetation Ecology in the Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prof. Andrew Balmford, Professor of Conservation Science in the Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge and Dr. György Pataki, Associate Professor of the Department of Decision Sciences, Corvinus Business School, Budapest.
